Build-your-own salad chain Tossed has relaunched its London Wall restaurant with a new menu and store design centred on personalised nutrition.
The relaunch introduces the brand’s “Feel Good, Your Way” concept, allowing customers to build made-to-order bowls around priorities including protein, fibre, gut health and lighter eating. Calories and macronutrients are displayed for every dish.
New menu additions include the Korean kimchi chicken powerbowl, made with spicy marinated chicken thigh, rainbow slaw, kimchi and kimchi ranch dressing.
The Twelve Veg Tofu Salad combines a dozen vegetables with crispy smoked tofu, harissa-roasted chickpeas and tahini dressing. A £9.99 hot meal deal pairs a toasted halloumi and falafel wrap with spicy tomato and chickpea soup.
“Lunch in London has changed since Tossed opened in 2005 and people want a bowl built around them,” said Angelina Harrisson, brand director at Tossed. “Some want protein, some want fibre, some want a happy gut or something light and satisfying. Every bowl is made to order in front of you and built to taste brilliant.”
The London Wall site also features refreshed interiors and a new mural by artist James Daw. Its design will provide the blueprint for updates across Tossed’s other restaurants as the company begins its next phase of expansion.
The rollout will include Tossed’s first airport restaurant, due to open at Gatwick. The new location will become the company’s 12th site and its first within a travel hub.
“Gatwick is a big moment for us,” said managing director Neil Sebba. “It means we can give people a proper made-to-order lunch when they’re often short on time and short on healthy options.”
The new menu is available now at Tossed, 58 London Wall, London EC2M 5TR. Further information is available at tosseduk.com.
