Kung Fu Mama will give away 100 portions of its signature 12-hour beef noodles on 6 October to celebrate National Noodle Day.

The offer will run from 3pm until 4pm at the Taiwanese noodle bar’s Covent Garden and Canary Wharf restaurants. The first 50 customers at each location can claim a free bowl by scanning a QR code in the restaurant.

Once the 50 complimentary dishes at each site have been claimed, customers will receive 25 per cent off noodles for the remainder of the day. Participants will also collect three bonus loyalty stars, with nine stars earning a free noodle dish.

Usually priced at £12.95, Kung Fu Mama’s signature dish combines sun-dried noodles with beef slow-cooked for 12 hours and Szechuan pepper. Each serving contains 38g of protein.

Kung Fu Mama was founded by Ottolenghi co-founder Noam Bar-Chang and Kung Fu Mama Retail founder Chris Hsu. Its menu draws on Taiwanese street food and also includes made-to-order noodle dishes and bao sandwiches.

The giveaway will take place at Kung Fu Mama Covent Garden, 80 Long Acre, WC2E 9NG, and Kung Fu Mama Canary Wharf, 64 Jubilee Place, E14 5NY.
