At Daffodil Mulligan, St Patrick’s Weekend coincides with the Cheltenham Gold Cup. On Friday March 13, the Old Street restaurant will host a special Gold Cup lunch in partnership with Fitzdares, with the race screened live.
Priced at £55 per person, the three-course menu includes dishes such as ‘Irish Style’ 24-Hour Simmered Lamb. Each guest will receive a complimentary bet worth up to £50.
From March 14–17, additional specials will be available, including Cavan Cured Ham with Savoy Cabbage, Buttered Potatoes and Parsley Sauce, and a limited-edition Guinness, Wild Garlic, Pepper & Irish Cheddar Sausage created in collaboration with Ruben’s Reubens.
On March 17, complimentary oysters will be served with every Guinness purchased.
Below the restaurant, Gibney’s will host live music throughout the week. The bar pours three stouts — Guinness, Beamish and its own Gibney’s stout, alongside snacks including a Chicken Spice Bag. On Saturday, a ticketed party (£10) will include a drink on arrival.
