Six East London bars are joining forces for a week-long martini trail this June, with bespoke £7 cocktails created to celebrate World Martini Day.
Running from 12–20 June, the East London Martini Map is a collaboration between The Boatyard Distillery and Cocchi Vermouth, taking drinkers on a walkable route through Shoreditch and Bethnal Green.
Six bars are taking part: Equal Parts, Mad Cats, Rain Dogs, The Sun Tavern, Umbrella Workshop and Without Papers. Each has created its own martini menu using Boatyard Gin or Vodka with Cocchi vermouth, with drinks priced at £7 throughout the promotion.
The serves range from faithful renditions of the classic to rather more adventurous interpretations. At The Sun Tavern and Umbrella Workshop, the Umbrella Vesper combines Boatyard Gin and Vodka with Cocchi Extra Dry Vermouth and Vichy Catalan, while Figure of Speech pairs gin and vermouth with fig leaf and crème de pear.
Over at Mad Cats, Dirty Harry adds chilli brine, za’atar liqueur and Scotch bonnet tincture to a gin martini, while its fruitier In The Groove combines mango-infused vodka, sake and a mango skin-infused vermouth.
Without Papers keeps things more traditional with gin and vodka martinis alongside a Chinotto Martinez, while Rain Dogs offers the holy trinity of dry, wet and dirty.
The trail will also host two special events. On 18 June, Equal Parts welcomes Irish bar Cask Cork for a takeover hosted by Boatyard Distillery’s Declan McGurk. Then, on World Martini Day itself, 20 June, The Sun Tavern will pair its martinis with complimentary oysters and live music from Georgie Hume & The Pity Party.
With London’s enthusiasm for the martini showing little sign of slowing down, the map offers an affordable excuse to explore some of East London’s independent cocktail bars – although attempting all six in one evening may be taking the concept of a walking tour rather too literally.
The East London Martini Map runs from 12–20 June 2026 across Shoreditch and Bethnal Green.
