Adam Handling’s Eve Bar in Covent Garden will celebrate Champagne Month this October with limited-edition scratch cards and a special selection of rare Champagnes served by the glass.

Throughout the month, the bar will distribute 250 Champagne Scratch Cards, each revealing a prize for guests to redeem. Rewards include a magnum of Taittinger Prélude, a complimentary glass of Champagne on a return visit, 20 per cent off a glass of Champagne or 20 per cent off a future drinks bill.

Eve Bar’s usual offering is built around what it calls the “Three Cs”: Champagne, cocktails and caviar. Its sparkling wine list is divided into three price categories, designed to make the selection accessible across different budgets.

For October, the bar will expand its by-the-glass menu with five special pours. These will include Taittinger Prélude Grand Cru NV for £15 and Domaine Evremond Edition 1 Classic Cuvée, produced in Kent, for £20.

Guests will also be able to order Taittinger Brut Millésime 2009 from magnum for £25, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2007 for £40 and Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2009 for £55.

The promotion will run throughout October and encompass Champagne Day, which falls on 23 October.
