Winter terrace season has officially landed in London, and The Sipping Room by Drake & Morgan has marked the moment with a festive transformation of its riverside terrace. Just a five-minute walk from Canary Wharf station, the West India Quay venue has unveiled Singleton Sips, a chalet-inspired winter hideaway created in partnership with The Singleton Whisky.

Now open and running through to March 22, 2026, the expansive heated terrace has been reimagined as a cosy seasonal escape, complete with twinkling fairy lights, copper-toned leaves and layered winter foliage. Inside the space, soft teal walls, cascading amaranths and berry-filled planters create a warm, enveloping atmosphere that feels deliberately removed from the glass-and-steel bustle of nearby offices.

The centrepiece is a trio of heated glass igloos, each seating up to eight guests. Designed for lingering evenings, they’re well suited to festive get-togethers, low-key celebrations or quietly indulgent date nights, all while keeping the Thames-side views firmly in sight.

The drinks list leans into approachable whisky serves, all priced at £13.50, showcasing Singleton 12 Years Old in a series of winter-ready cocktails. Expect a grown-up Singleton Hot Choco, enriched with honey syrup and finished with a toasted marshmallow; Scottish Spice, combining Lillet Rosé, mango purée, chilli liqueur and orange bitters; and a classic Whisky Sour with honey syrup, lemon and egg white. Fruity notes come through in Orchard Blossom, while the Singleton Negroni offers a deeper, bittersweet take on the aperitif staple with Campari and Lillet sweet vermouth.

Whether you’re tucked inside an igloo or wrapped up on the heated terrace beneath the lights, Singleton Sips at The Sipping Room delivers exactly what winter in the city calls for: warmth, whisky and a little seasonal escapism, without ever straying too far from Canary Wharf.
