Toklas has confirmed the return of its much-loved Christmas Market, taking place on Saturday, December 6, with a full day of festive food, drink and gifting centred around its bakery on Surrey Street, just off the Strand.

Running from 10 am until sell-out, the market brings together a carefully curated line-up of some of the UK’s most exciting independent makers, producers and craftspeople. Entry is free, but early arrival is strongly advised; last year’s market sold out by 1 pm.

At the heart of the market will be the Toklas stand itself, showcasing the bakery’s signature Christmas range. Expect Christmas puddings (£40, serves five), whole stollen (£24), alongside lebkuchen, mince pies, biscotti, granola and chutneys, all neatly pitched as generous gifts or centrepieces for the festive table. Toklas wines will also be available to take home, with bagged biscuits and build-your-own hampers rounding out the offering.

All Christmas products will be available in-store from Saturday, November 29, with additional collection dates each Saturday in December via the Toklas Slerp shop. Final collections take place on Saturday, December 20.

Joining Toklas on the day will be an eclectic and food-led mix of traders, including:

  • Quite Nice Clothing, the East London studio known for hand-drawn, culinary-inspired homeware and apparel

  • Emma Cantlay of Mainly Breakfast, bringing illustrated calendars and prints

  • Sirop, offering single-forest maple syrup from Québec

  • Tama Ceramics, mindful ceramics by Central Saint Martins-trained artist Suby Tamang

  • Pump Street Chocolate, with award-winning bakery and chocolate favourites

  • Imad’s Syrian Kitchen, selling cookbooks and pantry staples

  • Yod & Co, with curated homeware and festive decorations

  • Maegen, known for colourful seasonal scents

  • Sea Sisters, preserving British fish

  • Kouttone, cult small-batch panettone from south-east London

  • Walgate Wines, alongside expressive minimal-intervention wines from Tim Wildman MW via Les Caves de Pyrene

  • Fielden Whisky, producing whisky from heritage grains grown through regenerative farming

Festive refreshments will also be available on the day, including Black Lines Oat Nog, served directly from the Toklas Bakery counter.
