Knightsbridge restaurant, The Franklin Restaurant by Alfredo Russo, is celebrating the arrival of asparagus season with a dedicated menu.
Created by Russo, and available exclusively from today to May 21, ‘Ode to the Asparagus’ features six-courses.
Dishes include an amuse-bouche of soft egg cream served in an eggshell with wild asparagus, a starter of marinated whisky salmon accompanied by a white asparagus salad.
Guests can also enjoy handmade tortelloni filled with violet asparagus and served with parmesan cream, before a main of roasted quail and green asparagus.
Lemon soda and beer sorbet with asparagus is a perfect palate cleanser, before a treat of white chocolate profiterole with asparagus ice cream.
The restaurant team will also be providing a pairing to the asparagus assortment.
