Ole & Steen have released a range of holiday-themed Danish treats.
Available in all stores now, the new Christmas menu infuses the all-day bakery’s iconic Cinnamon Social with holiday flavours, and offers a Danish take on beloved British Christmas classics. New snacks include:
Mince Pie Social: £4.45 a slice, £12.45 for half or £20.95 for a whole Social
Taking a British twist on their best-selling Danish treat, the new Mince Pie Social features a blend of Christmas spices and vanilla custard. The Social is topped with cinnamon and nutmeg icing, sultanas and candied mixed peel.
The Crumble Mince Pie: £2.25
Ole & Steen’s handmade Crumble Mince Pies feature a flaky pastry crust with a persipan base, packed with mincemeat and topped with an almond crumble.
Dark Chocolate Hygge Honey Heart: £3.95
A Christmas staple in Denmark (and a new favourite here in the UK), the Dark Chocolate Hygge Honey Heart features a light gingerbread sponge, hand-dipped in dark chocolate and freeze-dried raspberries and chocolate pearls as decoration.
Cinnamon Social Latte: £3.95 Small, £4.45 Large
Inspired by the best-selling Cinnamon Socials – featuring O&S espresso blend shots, mixed with signature Cinnamon Social syrup, combined with steamed milk and topped with cinnamon for extra warmth.
Gingerbrod Latte: £4.55 Small, £4.95 Large
O&S Gingerbrod Latte’s blends espresso shots with gingerbread syrup, steamed milk and finished with whipped cream and cinnamon.
Frosted Mint Hot Chocolate: £4.55 Small, £4.95 Large
The Frosted Mint Hot Chocolate consists of hot chocolate powder mixed with mint syrup, combined with steamed milk and crowned with whipped cream and chocolate powder.
Jule Tree Marshmallow Whip: £3.95
Marshmallow with a marzipan base is covered in white chocolate, sprinkled with coconut and adorned with a festive chocolate star.
Merry Muffin: £3.45
The Merry Muffin is a chocolate muffin studded with chocolate chips, topped with cream cheese frosting and Christmassy red chocolate pearls.
Warming Toasties: £7.95
Both toasties are served on homemade focaccia, the new additions include the Turkey Roastie Toastie and the vegan-friendly Merry Squashmas Toastie.
The Christmas menu is available for a limited time until January 2 2024. As always, the seasonal goodies will be available for click-and-collect via the Ole & Steen app, but if you can’t pop into a bakery, Deliveroo can deliver the treats directly to your door, from all participating bakeries.
