Dom: If you’ve been following us recently, you’ll remember that we were documenting the progress of Wychwood Brewery while they create a beer for Nicholson’s Pubs Beer Festival happening later this month…
Just to recap, each brewery had to select a style of beer, ABV range and a hop region, after which they were then tasked with the challenge of creating a beer based around the Rugby World Cup. The legendary Wychood Brewery had to create a classic amber ale (3.5% – 4.5% ABV) made with hops from Australia and New Zealand.
Now for those who have followed myself (@TheFallOfDom2) and Jon Tilson (@wychwoodbrewer2 / the Wychwood Brewery mastermind) on Twitter, you’ll have seen the progress as it happened. Tasting Britain are heading over to The Globe in Moorgate this Thursday to catch up with guys from Wychwood and finally taste the beer itself. Watch this space as we’ll be announcing the final release date as well as the pubs it will be available in…
