HERA opens in Stratford

HERA is now open, bringing Greek dining to Stratford under the helm of Executive Head Chef John Skotidas. 

HERA’s menu spans Greecian cuisine; guests can start with a selection of mezze dishes are available from anchovies, to Kalamata olives dips such as tarama, tzatziki and melitzanao salata (smoked aubergine with thyme and honey).

’The Garden’ includes classics, such as vegetable moussaka, gemista (stuffed courgettes) and feta sagnaki.

‘The Farm’ section of the menu celebrates meats like grilled baby chicken with herb salt, beef meatballs and lamb chops, while ‘The Sea’ offers options including grilled octopus, wild sea bass and calamari.

In the cocktail Lounge, located at the front of the restaurant, choose from HERA signatures including Helen of Spice (a twist on a Spicy Margarita) and Dates in Crete (a twist on an Old Fashioned).

Hera’s wine list features a curated selection of Greek wine, such as Santorini’s Assyrtiko and the rich Cabernet Sauvignon, of Kokotos. 

The restaurant is located in the new Stratford Cross development, close to the ABBA Arena, and directly opposite the much anticipated V&A Museum which will open in Spring 2026. Bookings are now open.
