Restaurateur Arjun Waney OBE will open Osteria Panzano, his first Italian restaurant, on William Street in Belgravia on Friday 27 November 2026.
Waney is behind several prominent London restaurants and hospitality brands, including Zuma, ROKA, COYA, La Petite Maison and The Arts Club. His latest venture takes inspiration from Panzano, the hilltop Chianti village between Florence and Siena known for its vineyards, butchers and traditional osterias.
Waney owns a Tuscan estate and developed Osteria Panzano as a way of bringing the region’s produce, cooking and convivial approach to hospitality to his home neighbourhood in London.
Tuscan-born head chef Paolo Parlanti will lead the kitchen, serving a seasonally changing menu of regional dishes. Colder-weather options will include ribollita and cacio e pepe finished with black truffle, alongside yellowfin tuna tartare with avocado and crispy shallots, and roasted turbot with braised herb potatoes.
An open rotisserie and charcoal grill will sit at the centre of the restaurant, with a chef’s table positioned directly in front of the fire. Chicken and quail will be cooked on the rotisserie, while whole fish and aged T-bone steaks will be grilled over open coals.
Osteria Panzano will also contain a cheese and charcuterie shop selling Tuscan salumi and regional cheeses, which guests can either enjoy in the restaurant or take home.
“Food is a journey, and for me that journey has taken me from Japan to Peru, to France and back to London,” said Waney. “I felt that one important piece was missing: a truly phenomenal Italian restaurant.
“Osteria Panzano is my opportunity to celebrate the food, wine and spirit of Tuscany. It’s about bringing that genuine Tuscan experience to London: warm, generous and full of life.”
Designed by David D’Almada of London studio Sagrada, the restaurant will feature earthy tones, soft lighting and walls lined with wine. A private dining room will sit beneath a brick-vaulted ceiling, while a terrace will provide additional outdoor seating.
Italian aperitivi and cocktails will be available before dinner. The restaurant is intended to serve as both a neighbourhood fixture and a destination, opening throughout the day for lunch, drinks and dinner.
