From May 3 to June 4, fine-dining Indian restaurant, The Cinnamon Club, is launching a new menu to mark HRH The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Set against the Grade II listed Old Westminster Library and priced at £70 per head, the menu begins with a selection of canapés including home-cured Shetland salmon carpaccio with mustard caviar; jackfruit and lotus root kebab.
This can be followed by starters of kadhai spiced English asparagus with chickpea and yoghurt gnocchi, or lamb mille-feuille.
The main event is chargrilled Balmoral Estate venison served in a smoky black stone flower reduction alongside masala mashed potatoes, or a selection of signature Cinnamon Club dishes, such as kokum crusted halibut on the bone in a shallot and tamarind sauce, spinach malai kofta with stir-fried morels in a tomato fenugreek sauce.
Sides for the table include black lentils and a choice of Peshwari or garlic naan.
Desserts include a spiced date pancake, served with banana and miso caramel sorbet; a sticky ginger toffee pudding topped with cinnamon ice cream; or royal malai kulfi with caramelised quinoa and raspberry crisp.
Petit fours and coffee can be enjoyed in the Old Library Bar.
