All rye distiller, Kyrö Distillery Company, will join a variety of London’s craft food and drink brands at the London Craft Beer Festival this weekend.
Taking place at Tobacco Dock on Friday 13th August and Saturday 14th August, the celebration will see some of the world’s top breweries come together for a 10th anniversary edition of the event.
Kyrö will be serving guests samples of the signature Kyrö Malt and Kyrö Woodsmoke from its dedicated bar. Attendees can also enjoy a Kyrö Cherry Ryeball, a riff on a whisky highball from the Kyrö x CAKE e-bike – a mix of Kyrö Malt and Three Cents Cherry Soda, garnished with a maraschino cherry.
Founded by five friends in a sauna, Kyrö Distillery uses Finland’s best rye, touted to be some of the best in the world, to make a range of all-rye spirits, including gin, whisky and a cream liqueur.
Distilling in what was once an old dairy in the town of Isokyrö and working with 100% rye grain, Kyrö’s spirits are dedicated to showcasing what rye can produce.
Tickets can be purchased on the London Craft Beer Festival website and whisky-loving, craft fans will find Kyrö at stand EMSQ.
