Paris Society, the renowned hospitality collective behind some of France’s most glamorous venues, has launched House of Louie, a three-storey dining and nightlife concept in the heart of Covent Garden. Set within a restored 19th-century townhouse, House of Louie combines three distinct experiences, Wani Tzuki, Louie, and The Alligator Bar, under one roof.
Each floor tells its own story. On the ground level, Wani Tzuki offers an elevated take on the Japanese izakaya, where French-trained chefs reinterpret Japanese dining through precision and seasonality. Meaning ‘Alligator Moon,’ Wani Tzuki blends craftsmanship and conviviality, with interiors by Joanna Pera Duvocell marrying the purity of Japanese design with the warmth of a Parisian bistro.
At the heart of the townhouse sits Louie, the group’s signature French restaurant, now reimagined. Designed by Dion et Arles, the dining room pairs soft neutral tones and antique details with live jazz and contemporary French flavours, creating a space that celebrates the spirit of music and gastronomy in equal measure.
Crowning the building, The Alligator Bar offers a more electric energy; a hidden rooftop terrace for daytime cocktails and a gilded interior for after-dark dancing. Live entertainment, DJ sets, and evolving cocktail menus promise an atmosphere that shifts seamlessly from afternoon to midnight.
Billed as “one house, three stories, infinite discoveries,” House of Louie invites guests to explore its multi-layered approach to dining and nightlife. Whether for refined Japanese cuisine, the romance of French jazz, or the energy of a rooftop bar, this new Covent Garden address is designed to be an experience that unfolds floor by floor.
