New pub, Lock Inn Camden has opened on Jamestown Road, near Camden Lock.

Spread across two floors, with a roof terrace, The Lock Inn has a retro vibe throughout with quirky furnishings, classic prints, and a vast record collection.

Open from midday until midnight on weekdays, and on Fridays and Saturdays until 1.30am, punters can enjoy a wide choice of local craft beers and creative cocktails alongside a menu of music and live sports.

Snacks include organic popcorn chicken, tomato, basil and Manchego croquettes and the fiery holy f**k chicken wings with a blue cheese dip.

Bigger plates consist of classic pub fare and contemporary dishes like pizzas, beer battered fish with chunky chips and chicken shish with pilaf rice.

Sunday roasts feature 28-day hung Dexter sirloin beef or free-range chicken, served with a homemade Yorkshire pudding, seasonal veggies and lashings of gravy.

Behind the bar, the pub offers its own-brewed craft lager and handmade spirits, including Apricot Brandy, Blueberry and Maple Bourbon, and Marmite Vodka.

Signature cocktails are also on offer, such as the Tiki-Tango – mango vodka, cherry rum, pineapple and lime juice topped with lemongrass syrup and ginger ale – and The Tempest – wild berry pink gin, black raspberry liqueur, raspberry and blackberry fruit, lime, and mint.

There is also a brand-new monthly bottomless DJ brunch series, starting Sunday 28 July. Taking place on the rooftop terrace, guests pay £32 per person for 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks plus food.

Dishes include smashed avocado and eggs, artisan pizzas, and juicy burgers, with plant-based and beef options on the menu.

For something lighter, there is a pomegranate salad with chickpeas, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, avocado and quinoa.

Located on Jamestown Road, Lock Inn’s bottomless brunch with live DJs will take place on 28th July, 18 August, 29 September, 27 October and 24 November.
