Taste of Christmas returns for the 6th edition, with a new location and new features, helping to capture the very best festive food that London has to offer.
The Venue
The new venue is Tobacco Dock, a historical area near Tower Hill in the East of London. The dock is made up of a picturesque combination of indoor and outdoor space that will be transformed to provide a wintery Christmas location.
What’s there?
The show features some of the best restaurants that the capital has to offer, with an amazing 12 establishments exhibiting this year. There are also tastings, demonstrations and cooking theatres where you can see top chefs putting their twists on some of the most classic Christmas dishes.
Aside from this, there is also a Christmas Food & Drink Market – the perfect place to purchase gifts for those foodie friends and relatives, and of course for yourself.
The cost
Tickets start from £23.65 for adults and £12.90 for children, which includes entry into the event, access to all theatre sessions, tastings, demonstrations, masterclasses, Taste restaurants and the boutique food market, plus a complimentary Event Guide. However, before you buy, it’s worth checking Groupon, Amazon Local etc if you are a member as they have had offers on tickets.
Whilst in the event, the currency used is ‘crowns’, so by buying a premium ticket for £40.85 you get £20 of this dining currency included and it saves you having to plan it separately (and saves you £3).
