108 Brasserie, formerly known as 108 Marylebone, got a recent rebrand and I got the chance to come down and take a look. They’re a restaurant hotel in the heart of Marylebone (just off of the high street) that does Modern British cuisine in the kind of style that makes you proud to be an Englishmen *single tear*. Also onsite is ‘108 Pantry’ – which focuses on cakes, pastries and doing the traditional afternoon tea thing. You tend to get a bit jaded by these hotel restaurants that are all ostentatiousness and scary prices, but 108 seems to pull this off whilst mostly avoiding the stereotype. Our waiter was a small French guy and possibly the most energetic man in the world – with strong opinions on Sambuca ( I do not like Sambuca D: )
