Paris’s much-loved Il Bambini Club has officially arrived in London, opening its first UK restaurant at The Hoxton, Shoreditch.

The launch marks the third location for the brand, already popular in Paris and Megève, and brings its playful take on all-day Italian dining to East London.

Spread across the ground floor of The Hoxton, the new space has been designed as a “vibrant escape” for long lunches, aperitivo hours and late-night gatherings.

Interiors by Virginie Friedmann and Delphine Verace celebrate Italian eccentricity and mid-century design, with green and terracotta furnishings, textured fabrics and bold stripes.

Custom ceramic tableware and the restaurant’s own fragrance complete what the founders describe as a “multi-sensory expression of la dolce vita.”

The menu focuses on Italian comfort dishes served with a contemporary touch: from crispy arancini and creamy burrata to fresh pastas in pesto, ricotta and truffle variations, ending with a giant tiramisu. A dedicated cocktail list revisits Italian staples such as the Negroni, Amaretto Sour, Bellini and Spritz, all given a modern East London twist.

Il Bambini Club’s founders say the concept is built around “joyful, generous hospitality” where food, music and laughter meet. The Shoreditch restaurant will host mid-week live music sessions and extended aperitivo hours to encourage what it calls “the art of lingering.”

Open from morning until midnight, Il Bambini Club aims to bring a slice of modern Italy to Shoreditch, where, as the brand’s tagline puts it, la dolce vita never ends.
