Xi Home Dumplings Bay will launch three new pan-fried dumpling flavours and Dongbei-style lamb skewers at its Spitalfields branch from May 12.
Known for reimagining traditional Chinese dumplings, the restaurant’s latest additions follow founder Wenjun’s recent training in French cuisine at Ecole Ducasse in Paris.
The new dumplings include fiery tomato & basil prawn with paprika and fish sauce; cuttlefish & fish roe with mustard sauce; and chicken, sweetcorn & cheese topped with apple pear honey vinaigrette.
Joining the line-up is the Dongbei lamb skewer, featuring hand-cut lamb marinated in cumin, garlic and chilli, grilled over charcoal and served with house pickles.
To mark the launch, Xi Home Dumplings Bay is offering a Happy Hour deal: guests who order any of the new dumplings or lamb skewers will receive a complimentary Orion beer.
