Fine dining restaurant London Stock has announced it will be unveiling its new home in the heart of Mayfair, opening on Wednesday, October 4.
This is the first restaurant founded by Le Cordon Bleu-trained Assem Abdel Hady and Andres Bernal, which originally opened in Wandsworth in January 2020.
Aside from a seasonal eight-course tasting menu (£85), the restaurant offers an à la carte 3-course lunch (£40), and then a three-course pre-theatre menu (£50) and four-course set menu (£60) in the evening.
Since establishing itself in south London, the kitchen is run by head chef Sebastian Rast, previously of Above at HIDE. Rast’s dishes combine European flavours with techniques which reflect the multicultural melting pot of the capital.
London Stock is committed to cooking sustainably by striving towards a zero-waste kitchen.
The flexible, ever-changing menu focuses on seasonality, provenance and quality – each ingredient is sourced from suppliers, including Bethnal Green Fish, Natoora, and HG Walter.
To compliment is an expertly curated wine and drinks list by head sommelier Lazaros Engonopoulos, including a wine flight for the signature eight-course tasting menu.
The new space at 6 Sackville Street features an open kitchen where diners can observe Rast and his team at work.
Downstairs, the new site also offers an intimate private dining room with its own bar in the old wine cellar which can host up to 12 guests.
Founder Assem Abdel Hady said: “We are thrilled to have this beautiful space for the next chapter of London Stock in the heart of Mayfair. As a team, we strive for perfection in everything we do – from the food to the service and the ambience. We very much look forward to offering a dining experience that surprises and delights, with our guests leaving with truly unforgettable memories.”
