First throwing open the doors to their homes 10 years ago, The Little Door & Co brings its authentic house party to the city, this time in the heart of Carnaby with the opening of The Little Violet Door.
Guests can expect kitchen discos, late night cocktails and good vibes, in a genuine house party experience.
The venue follows in the footsteps of its Soho sibling, The Little Scarlet Door, and neighbourhood favourites The Little Yellow Door (Notting Hill), The Little Blue Door (Fulham) and The Little Orange Door (Clapham).
The party takes places in the former home of the iconic music venue Bag O’Nails — once frequented by Elton John and Paul McCartney.
The two-storey flat captures the essence of Carnaby’s rich heritage and hedonistic spirit, with impeccably designed interiors drawing inspiration from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
Behind the statement Violet door, complete with vintage knockers, there is a myriad of rooms to
discover.
The very heart of this home is the kitchen – the central hub of all good house parties and where the disco magic happens.
DJs will be spinning the decks, amongst pots and pans, from the renovated turntable kitchen island from Wednesday through to Saturday.
The outside terrace through to the ground floor sitting room featuring a statement vinyl bar, offer a place to chill
Or, for a more discrete spot for spilling secrets and selfies, venture to the bathroom complete with tub, robes and other bath accessories.
Guests can also grab a seat downstairs in the games room and get competitive over a whole host of games from What Do You Meme to Mario Kart, whilst the spacious living room – overlooking the kitchen disco – features comfy sofas, colourful artwork and coffee table books.
From teacups to tin cans and milk bottles, cocktails are served in home essentials and draw inspiration from the flat’s expansive DVD collection. Creative concoctions include La La Land (vodka, raspberries, Martini Rosso, and Mozart White & Vanilla); and Kill Bill Volume 2 (Remy Martin VSOP Brandy, Bacardi Negra and Toti Dark Rums, ginger syrup and Camden Pale Ale), served alongside Little Violet Door’s house punch.
Classic finger-friendly party food runs the gamut from nuts, crisps, olives, dips and crudites through to sharing champagne buckets of panko fried chicken, tacos, pulled brisket croquettes and burgers. For daytime dancing, The Little Violet Door will be serving bottomless brunch every weekend from July with dishes like shakshuka, bagels, avo on toast and granola smoothie bowls.
The entire flat along with your favourite rooms is also available for private hire, providing the ultimate contemporary house party setting, without the dreaded post-party clear up.
