The Little Houses Group is opening its first venue, Jaego’s House, a family club that will open in Kensal Rise on September 26.

A waterside café and restaurant offering all-day dining will be included in the club. Seating 85 inside and 24 on the ground floor canalside terrace, it will offer three curated menus – including one for children – for members and walk-in guests to enjoy.

Alexander Militsopoulos, Head Chef at Jaego’s House, has more than 15 years of experience within the restaurant industry.

Having trained with Michelin starred chef, and Jaego’s House member, Ollie Dabbous, Militsopoulos will bring his expertise to Jaego’s House to create fresh, healthy and seasonal dishes for the whole family.

Menu highlights for adults will include baked eggs with butter beans, chorizo and chard, courgette and mint fritters with herb labne and baked king prawns with garlic, lemon and parsley.

Grab and go options will also be available including a variety of baguettes and quick bites.  On the children’s menu, coconut milk porridge with a choice of toppings, egg and soldiers and chicken and pumpkin seed “satay” are some of the dishes available.

The restaurant team has also curated a one-handed menu for those breastfeeding or handling children, allowing guests the ability to eat with ease.

Menu items will include  San Daniele ham, seasonal mushrooms, artichokes and lemon thyme pizza, watermelon, cucumber, mint, feta and black olive salad and Jersey milk rice pudding ripple with late summer berries and roast peaches.

A milk bar will feature on the ground floor where guests can purchase ready-made formula bottles, store milk and heat up bottles. In the soft play area, parents will also be able to enjoy a glass of wine from the on-site wine dispenser.

Alexander Militsopoulos, Head Chef at Jaego’s House said: “We wanted to create fuss-free healthy food for the whole family to enjoy. I sense the restaurant will be the real hub of Jaego’s House and I want members and walk-in guests to be able to drop in for a coffee, a quick bite or a sit down lunch – with the whole family. We have spent a lot of time creating a menu that really caters for all, and I cannot wait for members to try it.”
