East London cultural hub Hackney Bridge, will officially open its indoor dining hall, Hackney Bridge Kitchens on Friday 24 September.
The space, which features mezzanine seating and a bar serving local craft beers, wines and cocktails, will be home to five new street food traders, as well as Made in Puglia and Filigrillz, who took up residency in Hackney Bridge’s alfresco courtyard this summer.
West indies hot Bakes, Bakes N Stuffingz will be on site with their traditional St.Lucian coal pot, serving jerk pork, jerk chicken and jerk pulled jackfruit.
Simply Hooked will be dishing up everything from ceviche to Sri Lankan spiced fish and chips.
Japanese soul food experts Rainbo, will be offering homemade gyoza and hirata bao buns, at their fourth site in the dining hall.
For vegan visitors, Hanoi Chay will be serving plant-based Vietnamese dishes like rice boxes and banh mi.
South Indian street food trader Tamila will be serving curries and layered roti as part of their menu.
To celebrate the opening, Hackney Bridge Kitchens will be hosting a special weekend of free events and activities from 24 to 26 September, including workshops, classes and impressive DJ lineups.
