BYO (build-your-own) alfresco eating box with Brindisa

Build your own Father’s Day feast with the new service from Brindisa – offering everything from snacks to BBQ-ready delicacies. 

Shoppers will be able to choose items from a pre-curated list designed by the Brindisa team, delivered to their doorstep. 

The BYO Barbecue Box selection includes steamed octopus, with Finca La Barca Alioli, and jarred Navarrico Piquillo Peppers
with rich Alejandro cooking chorizo to be enjoyed straight from the grill.

Also on offer are popular Padron peppers, and Perello olives served straight from their iconic tin.

The ‘Picnic Tote’ is also available, where shoppers can choose from cheeses, charcuterie, olives, plus Picos de Pan mini breadsticks and Torres crisps.

Gifts from Hoppers

This Father’s Day, Hoppers, the Sri Lankan street food-inspired restaurants in Soho, Marylebone and King’s Cross will offer a range of treats to gift, from the Hoppers ‘Cash & Kari’, their retail platform inspired by one-stop corner stores of Sri Lanka and South India.

These include the ‘Cookbook Starter Bundle’ comprising the award-winning Hoppers: The Cookbook and three signature spice blends, alongside the ‘Sri Lankan Spice Hamper’ and ‘Toddy Ale Beers’ bundle.

A complimentary Nc’Nean Whiskey cocktail at Ochre

This Father’s Day, Ochre, the British restaurant situated within London’s National Gallery will give every Father a complimentary Nc’Nean whiskey cocktail at lunch.
Ochre has partnered with Nc’nean Whisky to create three bespoke cocktails that will be exclusive to the menu for the occasion.

Fathers can choose from, Rob Roy – Nc’Nean whiskey with sweet vermouth and bitters, Blood and Sand – Nc’Nean whiskey with
sweet vermouth, cherry heering and orange juice and the Old fashioned – Nc’Nean whiskey, bitters and sugar.

Alongside this, guests will be able to enjoy dishes such as Saddleback pork and Westcombe cheddar croquettes with sage and onion pesto and aged parmesan; Scottish scallops with baby turnip, chorizo, preserved lemon and Cime di Rapa, Sweet potato and English pea samosa with mango, chilli, heritage cherry tomato, lime and coriander.

Larger plates include pan-fried monkfish with charred hispi cabbage, romesco sauce and toasted almonds and 21-day aged black-faced lamb rack with grilled baby gem, herb bread crumb and lamb jus.

Live music BBQ at Garden House, Cambridge

For Father’s Day, Garden House at Graduate Cambridge has launched a new menu, with a selection of seasonal snacks, starters and large plates from the BBQ.

Garden Bar, at the heart of the hotel, will also offer a menu of summery spritzes, or classic cocktails.

Accompanied by giant garden games and a programme of live music, the Garden House Father’s Day BBQ menu includes small plates such as grilled tiger prawns with lime tartar sauce, lamb kofta with sriracha yoghurt and halloumi with rose harissa and sesame seeds.

A variety of chargrilled burgers, including traditional beef cheeseburger, a vegan cheeseburger with burger sauce, pickles and fries, and a chargrilled chicken burger with roast garlic aioli, pickles and fries, will be available – as well as loaded hotdogs.

Limited tables can be booked, however guests are encouraged to arrive early to grab the best spot.

The Garden House garden BBQ menu will be available on Saturday and Sunday throughout Summer.

Father’s Day games at Treehouse Hotel London

Treehouse London, the sustainable hotel located in Marylebone, will be celebrating Father’s Day in its three restaurants. 

Pizzeria Mozza will be offering a complimentary Mozza Sundae on the 17 June when a main dish is purchased at the restaurant, either pizza or any mozzarella plates from the mozzarella bar.

Madera, a mix of Mexican cuisine and experiential dining and little sister to Los Angeles-based Toca Madera, will be serving its regular brunch menu over the weekend.

Rooftop bar, The Nest,  located on the 16th floor of Treehouse London, encourages guests to take their father figures up to the rooftop offering incredible 360-degree views of the city skyline, as well as a friendly game of backgammon and a sustainable cocktail.
