Need a quick but tasty meal during the week? This simple recipe uses a Knorr flavour pot to deliver a spicy chilli hit which perfectly compliments noodles and vegetables. Try it with beef, chicken or turkey and a mix of different veggies, such as peppers, baby corn and mangetout.
Chilli Beef Stir Fry

Stir up a taste of the Orient with this delicate yet spicy dish. Made using a KNORR® Mixed Chillies Flavour Pot along with ginger and garlic, it’s bursting with heat and full of fragrance.

Ingredients
- 500g quick fry strips of beef
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 400g of your favourite stir fry vegetables
- 5 spring onions, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2.5cm piece fresh root ginger, grated
- 1 KNORR® Mixed Chillies Flavour Pot
- 1 tablespoon each white wine vinegar and soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons each tomato ketchup and runny honey
Instructions
- Toss the beef with the cornflour.
- Heat 75ml oil in a wok and when very hot, fry half the beef until crisp.
- Remove to a warm plate and repeat with the rest. Take care- very hot fat.
- Drain oil leaving one tablespoon and fry the stir fry vegetables with the onions, garlic and ginger for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix the KNORR® Mixed Chillies Flavour Pot, vinegar, soy, ketchup and honey with 2 tablespoons water.
- Add to the vegetables with the beef and stir through until piping hot.
- Serve immediately with cooked noodles and prawn crackers.
Notes
- You can use a Knorr garlic flavour pot instead of cloves of garlic
