Yes folks, it’s nearly time again to celebrate our beloved neighbours over in Ireland, St Patrick’s Day occurs on Monday 17th March this year and as always, the Mayor of London will be showering us with festivities in the City centre on the Sunday before (16th).
This year the festival will take on a foodies twist, with an Irish Food Market in the heart of the festival at Trafalgar Square. From farmhouse cheeses and traditional breads to smoked fish and luxury confectionery, The Irish Food Board (Bord Bia) brings the very best of Ireland to central London.

You can head to the festival after catching the St Patrick’s Day Parade, which also runs through the centre of London. With so much to see and do, it makes an awesome day out for friends, couples, families and drunks (kidding).
Just keep your fingers crossed that the rain doesn’t make a follow-up appearance this year!
