The team behind Bob Bob Ricard has launched Bébé Bob in Golden Square, Soho, born out of a love for rotisserie chicken, fine wine and champagne.
It officially opens on Wednesday October 18, preceded by a soft launch period with 30% off food from October 4 to 15.
The new concept will retain signature Bob Bob hallmarks; flamboyant décor, French cooking and some great value champagne and fine wines in London.
The concise menu from head chef Sherwin Mauro (who has worked at Bob Bob Ricard City since November 2021) and executive chef Ben Hobson, is based entirely around Vendée chicken from Pays de la Loire and Landais chicken from Gascony, cooked to order and serving two.
Sides incude roast potatoes cooked in chicken fat with thyme, rosemary and garlic; truffled cauliflower cheese in Mornay sauce with truffle, parmesan and cheddar; and sauteed kale in confit garlic.
Caviar – a Bob Bob staple – will come in three varieties, whilst starters involve anchovy egg mayonnaise and orawn cocktail, with Cognac Marie Rose sauce.
French patisserie will also feature, tarte fine and Calvados ice cream, Paris-brest and Le Colonel, lemon sorbet served with a shot of Ukrainian vodka.
Drinks are designed to complement the chicken, with Head of Wines Giacomo Recchia giving half the list over to Champagne and Burgundy, and half to the classic favourites from around the world.
Décor is reminiscent of the Roaring 1920s, conjuring Gatsby-esque feeling with banquettes throughout except for at the yellow granite bar counter. To book now visit, www.bebebob.com.
