On 18 March, A Braccetto will bring a modern, uncomplicated take on traditional Italian cuisine to Earl’s Court.
Situated a stone’s throw from the station, the friendly trattoria will boast a concise, expertly curated menu centred around wholesome Italian flavours, with standout dishes including pizza alla Romana and fresh pasta which are sure to make the restaurant an instant neighbourhood favourite.
Taking its name from the Italian term for ‘arm-in-arm’ or ‘side-by-side,’ A Braccetto’s menus will picture Orso, a Marsican bear, and Lupo, a wolf and the symbol of Rome, dancing together, embodying the spirit of the restaurant, which hopes to promote a sense of community, inclusivity, and lighthearted fun.
At the communal dining counter, where friends and family can enjoy dishes which showcase a fusion of regional crafts from across Italy.
Crafted with ingredients sourced from British and Italian suppliers, A Braccetto’s signature dishes include pizza alla Romana, boasting a thin, crispy, handmade base using a selection of organic Italian flours, slow-risen for at least 24 hours, such as La Classica, featuring hand-shaped D.O.P. Buffalo mozzarella and La Marittima, topped with Sicilian anchovies, red onion and sun-blushed tomatoes.
Made using organic Tuscan olive oil and zero-waste pickled vegetables, other dishes featured on the menu will include a rotating selection of charcuterie and bruschetta topped with courgette, tomato and crispy artichokes, alongside hand-crafted pasta dishes such as orecchiette cime di rapa, with Italian turnip tops cooked with Sicilian anchovies, chilli and lemon breadcrumbs.
Meanwhile, there will be a selection of secondi and desserts on offer including a beef sirloin tagliata served with a rocket and parmesan salad, a lime leaf panna cotta and the must-try tiramisu della casa, to be enjoyed alongside a range of traditional Italian cocktails, Birra Moretti and a selection of organic wines.
Seating 62 inside and 8 on the terrace, A Braccetto will be open from lunchtime until late evening.
