The era of the joyless desk lunch is officially over. On May 14, sandwich and coffee specialists Yolk open their tenth London site at 90 High Holborn—a flagship store that marks the arrival of Yolk 2.0: think open kitchens, digital menus, and a more intuitive service flow.
To celebrate, they’re kicking things off with 50% off everything from May 14 to 16 – just use the code YOLKYES at checkout. From there, members of the brand’s loyalty scheme BrewClub can enjoy a rolling series of offers throughout the month: half-price lunch and breakfast deals from May 26 to 30 and 50% off all coffee and matcha for the rest of May.
Everything is prepped in-house daily, including the ciabatta, house sauces and slow-cooked fillings. New arrivals include the crying tiger steak (bavette steak, nam jim mayo, coriander, pickled onion and crispy shallot), buffal’oumi (halloumi, avocado, ranch, secret sauce and lettuce), and chicken’esco (roast chicken, romesco, herb mayo and rocket). Old favourites return too, like the ever-popular steak béarnaise and the bang-bang shroom, both already staples among the Yolk faithful. Coffee is brewed with Caravan beans and paired with Estate Dairy milk, while matcha fans can expect ceremonial-grade quality from the green stuff.
Yolk founder, Nick Philpot, said: “This is a big moment for us; Holborn is location number 10, and it brings together everything we’ve learned over the past decade. It’s also the first to show off our new look — louder, bolder, and built to match the energy of the food. We’re here to serve London the best sandwiches in the city. No ghost kitchens, no sad meals. Just Good Bites Only.”
