The Roof Terrace at The Sloane Club has partnered with Château d’Esclans, famous for its Whispering Angel rosé, for a pop-up of summer soirées and al fresco dining in the heart of Chelsea on The Roof Terrace which is now open.
Guests can choose one of the three rosés featured in the menu – the light and crisp Whispering Angel, the bigger and richer Rock Angel or the complex yet elegant Château d’Esclans.
Food will be served from a menu has been put together by executive chef Bernhard Mayer and head chef Maryono Maryon.
The Roof Terrace Menu dishes include edamame hummus and lemongrass sambal with warm pita, spiced yellowfin tuna tartare and lemongrass chicken burger with black garlic aioli, pineapple salsa and Asian slaw.
Katie plus Juan duo will be performing live music every first Sunday of the month, from 2pm until 4:30.
May also heralds one of the borough’s most illustrious and bountiful occasions, Chelsea in Bloom from 20 to 26 May, an alternative floral art show, in association with the Royal Horticultural Society, where local retailers compete for the coveted awards.
This year’s theme is Floral Feasts celebrating two of the things that Chelsea is most famous for: botanical heritage and fabulous food. The Sloane Club and Sloane Place has announced a partnership with florist June in March that will see the public spaces bedecked in floral displays in the floral designer’s signature style.
