The Lobby, the refined, all-day restaurant at The Peninsula London, has launched a Sunday Roast menu, served in the grand dining room at the heart of the hotel.

Starters include crab benedict, smoked salmon and crab tian, steak tartare, and beetroot salad.

For main courses, guests can choose roasted Lake District beef striploin or duck breast; alternative options of chive-crusted halibut fillet and miso-glazed aubergine are also available.

All dishes are accompanied by a generous selection of trimmings, such as beef dripping roast potatoes; heirloom carrots; cauliflower, cabbage, and spinach gratin; Yorkshire pudding, and lashings of gravy.

Desserts in The Lobby are created by the hotel’s pastry team and the menu features chocolate and caramel hazelnut tart; or vanilla crème brûlée, with rhubarb.

Wines, curated by The Peninsula London’s Director of Wine, Melody Wong, range from new-world finds to rare vintages, and include special offerings like Deutz Champagne, English Sparkling Wine from partners Coates and Seely, and non-alcoholic Saicho Darjeeling Sparkling Tea.

The Sunday Roast menu is available every Sunday for lunch from noon to 2:30 pm and is priced at £75 per person, while a glass of white or red wine is included for £85 per person.
