This Summer, TOZI restaurant is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with ten weeks of exclusive menus, seasonal specials and tasting events, topped off with a big birthday party.
For ten weeks across June and July, guests can enjoy a new 10-strong negroni menu, created by general manager Stefano Meloni, 10 wine events and a new spring menu.
In addition to TOZI’s signature barrel-aged negroni, a concoction of gin, Campari, vermouth, seasonal citrus fruits and spices, served straight from the barrel, the menu will feature versions of the drink including Wake Me Up, which combines Seven Hills Gin and Campari with Mancino-infused coffee and orange bitters.
Head chef Maurilio Molteni, who hails from North-west Italy, will be creating new spring dishes to mark the milestone.
Examples include Sicilian red prawn carpaccio with creamy burrata and zesty lemon oil, paccheri with succulent baby octopus, tender squid and buttery Taggiasca olives and rustichelle with Welsh lamb ragout and rosemary.
Mains like grilled sea bream with courgette and samphire – or dried tomatoes and salmoriglio – or slow-cooked pork shoulder with braised cannellini beans, rainbow chard and crispy pancetta will feature.
TOZI will launch a calendar of ten wine events focusing on a specific region, with guests invited to taste a variety of wines, all paired with regional dishes. One of these nights highlights the La Montina vineyard in the Franciacorta region, an area that is becoming known for its Italian sparkling wine.
Taking place on the 7 June and hosted by Michele Bozza from La Montina and Luca Dusi from Passione Vino, the wine pairing dinner is priced at £90 per head.
