Diners can now enjoy a taste of Argentinian summer at the new Vineyard Terrace at Gaucho Piccadilly, launching in line with World Malbec Day on 17 April.
Open throughout the spring and summer, the terrace will be transformed into a vineyard, with beautiful hanging plants and festoon lights.
A wide range of Argentine malbecs will be on offer with wines from Trapiche, one of Argentina’s oldest brands dating back to 1883, and El Esteco from one of the world’s highest vineyards.
Accompanying the wines, is a South American menu with dishes such as sea bass ceviche with picante rojo and avocado; churrasco cuadril marinated in garlic, parsley and olive oil; and a chocolate volcano accompanied by pistachio ice cream.
Exclusively on World Malbec Day, guests can head to Gaucho Piccadilly to get involved with some grape stomping and win ‘wine’derful prizes from a bottle of Malbec to take home to lunch for two on the terrace.
Other World Malbec Day celebrations across the Gaucho estate include a Malbec special of the Sour Grapes wine series on 17 April at Gaucho Chancery Lane; a Gaucho social media competition to win return flights to Mendoza; and the chance to win a year’s supply of Malbec via the Gaucho newsletter.
