Beenie Man has confirmed his first UK show in more than a decade for this summer’s Yam Carnival debut.
Known as The King of the Dancehall, the artist will make his return next month as he graces the stage on August 28 for London’s celebration of Black music and culture
It’s been 12 years since Beenie Man performed live in the UK, but guests to the one-day event, at Clapham Common in London, will be able to catch a long-awaited appearance.
In a press release, Yam Carnival said: “Representing the Black experience and influence around the world, featuring the most exciting names from Africa, from the British, American and Canadian diaspora – now Beenie Man adds to a phenomenal crop of artists.”
More Yam Carnival news is on the way, including an ‘array of top African-influenced food trucks and chefs from around London’, as the festival promises ‘contemporary bites and traditional home comforts’.
Last remaining tickets for Yam Carnival will be released on Friday, July 30 at 10am, available from: https://yamcarnival.com/
