Amanzi Tea Rooms, Marylebone, London - Cookie Dough Bubble Tea

Amanzi is an exciting somewhat progressive (I dunno if this is the right word?) tearoom in Marylebone. They have a splendid selection of teas – ranging from the traditional loose leaf, all the way to the newer styles, such as bubble tea. They also do a little coffee, but everybody’s usually too busy drinking the tea to have noticed this. Anyway, the invited us back again to take a look at some of the new stuff on their menu.

We tried a whole load of things but the stuff that really stood out was ‘Immuni-Tea’ (not sure if actual immunity booster but tastes LEGIT as fuck), ‘Nutella Macha’ (exactly what you were hoping for, maybe even better as they don’t go overboard on the Nutella) and ‘Yunnan Pu-erh’ (the best Pu-Erh I have tried yet…in my kinda short Pu-Erh career). Though this is their first UK store, they’ve got a Soho opening coming in Summer which we’re quite excited about (Sohopening…? Sohopening Happening?)

On that note they also do some of the best bubble tea in the city (and there’s now quite a lot of competition!). I tried a cookie dough bubble tea with blueberry bubbles. All i can say that it is a wonderful thing that we can live in an age when drinks such as this now exist. I think our ancestors would be proud. And confused. Mainly confused.
