In general I am far more of a savoury person than sweet, but I had the most amazing dessert on Thursday which, despite feeling a tad sick after eating, made me want to eat dessert like that everyday.
I joined a couple of friends for lunch at Villandry on Great Portland Road and following a beautiful main course, we all decided to dig in to dessert.
I chose a delicious, Eton Mess sounding berry-based dessert but was not quite prepared for what I got ….
… mountains of berries, vanilla ice-cream, raspberry sorbet, meringue and cream … in other words – HEAVEN!
Let’s hear it for giant desserts!!
