The Team 

Shekha 

Shekha Vyas has spent the past 15 years exploring the UK’s dining scene, from hidden neighbourhood gems to destination restaurants. She’s interested in the people and places that give a restaurant its soul. Her work focuses on the ways food reflects culture, memory, and community. Her approach is simple: eat widely, ask questions, and keep looking beyond the plate.

 

Jack

Jack is a thirtysomething economic exile living in Kent, and one of Tasting Britain’s original co-founders. His favourite food is Japanese, and his favourite drink is Scotch.

 

Christina 

Christina fell in love with wine and food pairings while studying for her WSET qualification. She went on to explore chocolate and cheese, seeking out British artisans whose creations tell a story as rich as their flavour.
